Vice President / Senior Vice President: Translational Biology
About the Job:
We are looking for creative & rigorous experimental scientists who want to apply their cutting-edge skills to developing novel RNA medicines.
A strong candidate has a Ph.D. and substantial R&D or academic experience.
The specific area of your biology expertise is less important than your curiosity and accomplishments!
Job Type: Full-Time
Qualifications:
Talented and creative scientist with demonstrated accomplishments in any area of cell or molecular biology: from synthetic biology, virology, or cancer biology to structural biology.
Specific expertise in at least 1 of the following areas:
RNA or Gene Therapy (e.g., RNA-LNPs, AAV, Adenovirus, or cell therapy)
Synthetic Biology (e.g., designing novel genetic circuits, CRISPR-Cas systems)
Virology (e.g., influenza, coronaviruses, HIV)
Cancer Biology (e.g., immunotherapy, solid tumor biology)
Inhalational Biology (e.g., lung cancer, cystic fibrosis, or influenza)
Cell Biology (e.g., development of novel high-throughput cell-based assays)
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in Biology, or a related field.
Substantial R&D or academic experience.

In addition to learning new science, you can also gain exposure to cutting-edge robotics. Our engineering team builds devices in-house to test our antiviral candidates in high-throughput.
